Single oven cleaning price

£55

1.5–2 hours on site. All products and equipment included. Hob, extractor or microwave can be added — see hob & extractor cleaning.

What's included

A single oven clean covers every part of the cavity, the racks, the trays, and the door glass. Each visit:

  • Oven interior — roof, sides, floor and back wall fully degreased
  • Racks and shelves — removed and cleaned individually
  • Door — both sides of the glass, including the inner pane (where removable)
  • Door seal and hinges inspected and wiped
  • Trays — cleaned if left in the cavity
  • Control panel and exterior wiped down

How long it takes

Most single ovens in Newcastle homes take between 1.5 and 2 hours on site. Heavily soiled ovens that have not been professionally cleaned for several years may take slightly longer, but the price doesn't change.

The process

Removable parts come out and get cleaned individually while I work on the cavity. The interior is brushed, scrubbed and rinsed section by section — roof, sides, floor, back wall, door glass inside and out. Every surface is rinsed with fresh water and polished before I leave. The oven is ready to use as soon as I'm done.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a single oven clean cost in Newcastle?
Single oven cleans are £55, fixed price regardless of condition. Send a photo on WhatsApp if you want to confirm before booking.
How long does a single oven clean take?
Most single ovens take 1.5–2 hours on site. Heavily soiled ovens may take slightly longer at no extra cost.
Do you clean the inside of the door glass?
Yes — where the door is designed to come apart, I take both panes out and clean all sides, including the inner pane that traps grease over time. This is one of the most-missed areas in DIY cleaning.
Can you clean a self-cleaning (pyrolytic) oven?
Yes. The pyrolytic cycle doesn't touch the door glass, seals or racks — those still need a professional clean. I clean everything the cycle can't reach.
Do I need to empty the oven before you arrive?
Just take out any loose items like bakeware or pizza stones. I handle the racks, trays and removable parts.
How often should a single oven be professionally cleaned?
For most households, every 6–12 months. Heavy cooks every 4–6 months. Regular cleaning extends element life and keeps door seals working properly.
